The Michael Sablin-developed application Chaotic Change Screensaver Manager is not, and I repeat, not a screensaver. It will not show up on your monitor when the computer goes idle and start displaying stuff. This application, as its name so adequately points out, is in fact a screensaver manager.

This means it allows you to, well, manage the screensavers you already have. Without Chaotic Change Screensaver Manager, when your computer goes idle, a screensaver kicks in and starts displaying stuff. Only that screensaver will run. With Chaotic Change Screensaver Manager, you can set it so that multiple screensavers run in order, or at random.

Let’s say you have a screensaver called Pretty Flowers – I just made the name up. Without Chaotic Change Screensaver Manager, the Pretty Flowers screensaver will kick in and will run for as long as the computer is idle. Let’s say that alongside the Pretty Flowers screensaver you also have the Pretty Puppies and Pretty Rainbows screensavers – I just made up those names too. With Chaotic Change Screensaver Manager, you can set it so all three screensavers are displayed either randomly, or according to the order that you specify.
